How’s this for eye-searing?
It’s the third of the 10 skeins from the mill. A lovely half merino wool, half silk blend. I LOVE this yarn blend, and it’s going to be one of my bases. And as most of you know- I do not care for THIS particular color, but I know many of you do. Therefore I must experiment with it. I find this experiment pretty horrifying, so that must mean I have the right color. What do you think?
As for the other two- one was a super bulky wool that was very obstinate in the dyeing process. The finished product is okay, but I think I would like something different. It’s wavy, like Lion Brand Homespun. The other is an interesting wool/cotton blend that may end up as a Limited Edition.

Oh and contest winners- I haven’t forgotten you! We’re entering my busy season at work, so it’s been hard to get to the post office before it closes. But- those will go out tomorrow, even if I have to coerce the Hubby to do it. Sorry for the delay, and thanks for your patience.
That sure is bright. I adore homespun though. 🙂
I’ll see how it knits up. The whole point of these 10 skeins aren’t the colors, but the yarn. I need to see how they feel and how they behave. But I find it funny that so far the color I like the least ended up on the skein I like the most…
I’m all about brights, I’d say you can still turn it up a bit more!
I knew you’d like it! 🙂
HAHAHAHA I am always all about color!
